When people asked Marek why he had chosen architecture as a profession he couldn’t give a simple answer. Architecture always seemed to be a natural choice for him. He loves the thrill of solving problems in “art and technology”. Over his time at the university in Poland he had also an opportunity to study in Italy and France where he was exposed to great works of art, history and contemporary architecture by Pier Luigi Nervi, Ricardo Bofill and many others. It seems to him that right now he is in the middle of the journey as an architect. He was given the opportunity to work in Europe on projects of different scale and type before coming to America. For the last eleven years he has been experiencing working in the American environment exploring and absorbing all the novelties with great content. In his leisure he enjoys downhill skiing in winter and always a quiet dinner with his perfect wife.
